Logistics / Warehouse Sr. Associate
Responsibilities- Oversee the entire supply chain process, from the point of origin to the final destination.
- Manage tracking of product in the warehouse management.
- Work with Distribution and Warehouse Managers to determine product storage standards.
- Develop, communicate and monitor product storage standards for LGL’s Houston branch.
- Assign and maintain supply chain / inventory control /storage codes for all items.
- Audit warehouse procedures through reports on-site visits and communication.
- Identify, recommend and follow up on improvements and corrective actions.
- Work with various Corporate departments including Accounting, Purchasing and Inventory Control to ensure product information relative to product storage and handling is maintained in a consistent manner.
- Keep a close relationship with personnel ranging from client to warehouse Execute harmonized order management & customer service processes
- Understand all aspects of import and export shipments including; preparing documentation, data entry, tracing, billing, arranging deliveries, providing quotations
- Communicate with steamship line, vendors, customers, sales and overseas offices.
- Negotiate rates steamship line and trucking companies
- Oversee all compliance requirements for domestic move
- Strong project management, data analysis, and organization skills.
- 2-3 yrs knowledge of supply chain management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Hours M-F 8-5, no weekends
