Vice President/Associate Director, Clearing & Execution Sales Originator at Macquarie Group

At Macquarie, you will join a Futures team with over 30 years of experience operating in global futures markets, providing comprehensive execution, clearing, and financing solutions. You will benefit from a collaborative environment, continuous 24‑hour coverage of major markets, and the opportunity to work with a diverse set of corporate and institutional clients.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Clearing & Execution Sales Originator, you will source and market to potential institutional clients, as well as manage existing relationships in the US and international Energy markets. You will work across regions and business lines to maximize client engagement and deliver holistic solutions. Your role will involve leveraging your energy industry expertise to identify new business opportunities, communicate key client risks and performance metrics to senior management, and stay abreast of regulatory changes impacting our clients.

Collaboration with stakeholders across Sales and Trading, Risk Management, Compliance, Technology, and Operations will be central to your success.

What You Offer
  • Minimum 5–10 years of institutional experience in investment banking, FCM, or equivalent, with a focus on energy trading
  • Proven ability to originate new business and sustain long‑term client relationships
  • Strong understanding of the energy industry and its trends, with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities
  • Experience working across multiple regions and business lines to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Excellent communication skills for managing client risks and presenting performance metrics to senior management
