We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Coating, Painting & Construction Chemicals to oversee and expand sales operations in United States. This position is based in Houston, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute effective sales strategies for chemical products including HEC, MHEC, HPMC, and RDP.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients in coatings, painting, putty, tile adhesives, and mortar industries.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive regional revenue growth.
- Monitor competitor activity (e.g., Lotte Fine Chemical, Ashland Cellulose Ether) to remain competitive and proactive in the market.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure sales strategies are aligned with broader business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master Degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales of coating, painting, and construction chemicals.
- Proven success managing key accounts and distributors.
- In-depth knowledge of cellulose ethers (HEC, MHEC, HPMC) and RDP products.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and business development skills.
