About

The Role
  • Lead project teams in post‑deal value creation and pricing/​GTM due diligence initiatives.
  • Develop hypotheses, manage data collection, create models, and conduct primary/​secondary research.
  • Guide consultants on hypothesis refinement, interview design, insight generation, and deliverable production.
  • Synthesize findings into written presentations; review and discuss with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support Partners with project planning, workflow management, coaching, and career development for junior team members.
  • Build strong client relationships, present to senior audiences, and work closely with C‑suite executives.
  • Communicate issues and solutions in formal and informal settings.
  • Apply best practices, personal expertise, and firm‑wide technical competencies to deliver successful projects.
  • Influence client and team thinking and contribute to business development efforts, including proposals and pitches.
  • Guide clients through implementation and change management to ensure adoption and measurable impact.
Desired Skills And Experience
  • 5‑8+ years of relevant experience (Engagement Manager); 8+ years (Principal). Prior consulting or project‑based organization experience preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of pricing, sales, and/or marketing topics with analytics‑driven approaches and commercial effectiveness tools.
  • Solid understanding of private‑equity dynamics and operational frameworks.
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration in fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong analytical problem‑solving and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Willingness to travel on a project basis.
  • Proven mentorship and development of diverse teams.
  • Undergraduate degree; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
Key Projects
  • Redesign EMS SaaS pricing and packaging for a PE‑owned software player and quantify price ranges.
  • Rapid pricing diagnostic for a growth‑stage, PE‑owned mortgage appraisal software company to identify high‑impact levers.
  • Upskill a PE‑owned B2B services organization to renegotiate 100+ customer contracts for margin improvement.
  • Develop pricing organization and operating model for a legacy manufacturer, including team structure and governance.
  • Lead sales turnaround for an industrial gas supplier through organization redesign and key account structure development.
  • Implement discounting controls for a global travel operator, redesigning commission structures and policies.
  • Design incentive plans and scorecards for a leading insurance broker, driving 10% sales growth and 20% margin expansion.

Salary range: $225,000 – $240,000 (base).
