About the Role

The Account Director - Sales will own enterprise-level revenue growth and strategic account expansion. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through complex buying decisions and consistently closing high-value deals. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, disciplined execution, and the ability to lead through influence and example.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine a scalable sales strategy aligned with aggressive growth targets.
  • Identify, build, and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Engage directly with decision-makers through in-person meetings and on-site visits to understand customer operations, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Deliver concise, data-driven presentations that clearly articulate economic and environmental impact.
  • Challenge existing facility and energy management practices with customized, high-impact solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture grounded in accountability and shared success.
  • Provide Operations with clearly defined scopes of work and well-prepared customers to accelerate deal progression.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal data to identify growth opportunities and expansion strategies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience with a consistent record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven success selling complex solutions in high-growth environments.
  • Experience closing enterprise-level deals with C-suite executives.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting through close, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Highly detail-oriented, disciplined, and prepared.
  • Ability to remain calm, confident, and decisive under pressure.
  • Servant leadership mindset with a willingness to lead from the front.
  • Unwavering commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Location and Travel:
    Willingness to travel regularly; candidates should be based in or near Texas (Houston, Dallas, or Austin), Nashville, TN, or Denver, CO.
