The Procurement Analyst will support vendor management, including contract management, strategic sourcing, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will have procurement experience, negotiation skills, and a track record of driving efficiency and cost savings.
This role reports to the Head of Procurement and Vendor Management, ideally located in Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas, with some in-office presence as per the hybrid work policy.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing procurement strategies aligned with the firm’s goals, including policies and procedures.
- Identifying, evaluating, onboarding vendors, and negotiating terms.
- Maintaining vendor relationships and monitoring performance.
- Managing the contract lifecycle from selection to renewal.
- Collaborating with legal to review and negotiate contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Monitoring procurement spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Assessing and mitigating procurement risks.
- Supporting NDA processes, opportunity tracking, and sourcing strategies.
- Documenting procurement processes and developing toolkits.
- Maintaining the firm’s procurement system, Coupa.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- At least 3 years of procurement or vendor management experience, preferably in legal or professional services.
- Coupa experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software and contract law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
