Job Description

The Procurement Analyst will support vendor management, including contract management, strategic sourcing, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will have procurement experience, negotiation skills, and a track record of driving efficiency and cost savings.

This role reports to the Head of Procurement and Vendor Management, ideally located in Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas, with some in-office presence as per the hybrid work policy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing procurement strategies aligned with the firm’s goals, including policies and procedures.
  • Identifying, evaluating, onboarding vendors, and negotiating terms.
  • Maintaining vendor relationships and monitoring performance.
  • Managing the contract lifecycle from selection to renewal.
  • Collaborating with legal to review and negotiate contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  • Monitoring procurement spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assessing and mitigating procurement risks.
  • Supporting NDA processes, opportunity tracking, and sourcing strategies.
  • Documenting procurement processes and developing toolkits.
  • Maintaining the firm’s procurement system, Coupa.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of procurement or vendor management experience, preferably in legal or professional services.
  • Coupa experience preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and contract law.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
