Business Analyst - Petrochemical Industry

You will drive data-based decisions across sales, marketing, and commercial teams and help enhance the use of technology platforms such as CRM systems.

Primary Services is excited to announce the role of a Business Analyst for our client. This position provides the chance to work with a large, international company where you will support key stakeholders in analyzing market trends, evaluating customer and competitor data, and informing business strategies. You will play a central role in driving data-based decisions across sales, marketing, and commercial teams, while enhancing the use of technology platforms such as CRM systems.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with commercial stakeholders on core projects and initiatives.
  • Serve as the focal point and key user for the CRM system, supporting internal communication and information sharing.
  • Conduct analysis of customers, organizations, and competitors along the value chains.
  • Collect and synthesize market and customer data through research methods.
  • Analyze and report monthly performance of Key Accounts to stakeholders.
  • Support the organization of sales meetings and annual business planning activities.
  • Assist Sales Managers and Directors with daily business operations, serving as backup for regional sales managers.
  • Review pricing and cost components to identify margin improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide detailed product analysis to improve variable margin and EBITDA.
  • Support business line departments in pricing decisions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or Finance; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, Marketing, Sales, or Supply Chain, preferably in the petrochemical or related industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, sales processes, and business analytics.
  • Solid business acumen, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data analysis, market research, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and managing data-driven projects.
