Senior Procurement Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement strategy and operations for a fast-paced, growing organization. This individual will oversee raw materials sourcing, supplier relationships, spend management, and cross-functional supply chain initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep experience in chemicals or adjacent industries and a proven ability to drive cost savings, operational excellence, and team performance.

• Lead raw materials procurement and oversee end-to-end purchasing activities
• Manage spending, budgeting, and supply chain cost optimization initiatives
• Develop and deploy procurement strategies aligned with manufacturing and business goals
• Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
• Conduct market research and evaluate supplier performance, risks, and opportunities
• Lead bidding processes, contract negotiations, and long-term supplier partnerships
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, operations, finance, and leadership teams
• Hire, coach, mentor, and develop procurement team members
• Drive continuous improvement across supply chain and procurement activities

• 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain leadership
• Strong background in chemicals or related industries (required)
• Experience with raw materials sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations
• Proven track record in budgeting, policy development, and operational optimization
• Experience leading teams, hiring, and performance management
• Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional business units
• Oracle experience is a major plus
• Ability to work primarily onsite with some remote flexibility
