Job Summary:
Bellows Systems is seeking a motivated recent college graduate to join our procurement team and grow into a key role managing material purchasing and inventory control. This position offers hands‑on training in manufacturing operations procurement, with mentorship from experienced professionals who will help you build a strong foundation for your career in supply chain management.
What You'll Learn and Do:- Purchase supplies, materials, and parts for manufacturing operations with guidance from senior team members
- Learn to analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
- Build and maintain inventory databases using modern software systems
- Participate in vendor negotiations and contract discussions, developing your negotiation skills
- Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with company procedures
- Collaborate daily with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to support seamless operations
- Communicate professionally with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or pricing issues
- Contribute ideas for improving purchasing and inventory control processes
- Gain exposure to ISO 9001 & AS9100D quality management standards and manufacturing best practices
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field (Class of )
- Strong academic foundation with coursework in procurement, inventory management, operations, or business analytics
- Eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
