Argus is a fast‑growing global B2B media company that provides essential information to the energy industry. Argus benchmarks are used worldwide for pricing contracts, taxation, investment planning, and more.
We are looking for a Senior Client Engagement Manager to join our highly successful commercial team. In this role you will consolidate and develop long‑term relationships with a small, highly strategic portfolio of accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Protect Argus’ existing revenue by ensuring customers receive optimal value from Argus services.
- Encourage further use of Argus services and products.
- Identify, evaluate and execute business opportunities related to new price assessments, services and products.
- Help shape changes to Argus product line and launch new offerings in response to industry needs and feedback.
- Build the company profilexr within the strategic customer base and promote the Argus brand.
- Promote, explain and answer all matters concerning Argus, its services and products.
- Educate clients on how to maximize the value they receive from a relationship with Argus.
- Present Argus’ platforms, analytical tools and applications through demonstrations to clients and partners.
- Attend and coordinate marketing presence at conferences, events, and പരിശ dedicated client events.
- Ensure retention of existing users by delivering first‑class support and achieving high customer satisfaction.
- Co‑ordinate with colleagues across the US and globally.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Commercial experience: ideally worked at a commodity trading floor or has prior commercial experience in commodities.
- Successful track record in key account management with experience or knowledge of data/IP account management preferred.
- 10+ years of experience building effective interpersonal relationships with key influencers and decision‑makers.
- International experience working across diverse cultures in the Americas and globally.
- Self‑driven, results‑oriented with a positive outlook and focus on high quality and commercial benefit.
- Well‑presented, credible, and able to influence senior executives at large and small firms.
- Mobile and flexible to travel locally and internationally up to 50% of the time (Pandemic restrictions permitting).
- Empathetic communicator who can see things from the other person’s point of view.
- Collaborative team‑oriented environment.
- Forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
