Job Summary
The Sr Business Analyst – Right Angle CTRM will serve as the bridge between the business stakeholders and technical teams focusing on optimizing our commodity trading operations through effective use of the Right Angle platform.
Duties and Responsibilities-
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to enhance our commodity trading operations using Right Angle
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for Right Angle implementation and customization
- Design, implement, and optimize Right Angle workflows to support front, middle, and back-office trading activities
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure Right Angle configurations meet business needs
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with traders, risk managers, and operations teams
- Provide training and support to end users on Right Angle functionality
- Collaborate with IT teams on Right Angle upgrades, integrations, and customizations
- Create and maintain documentation for Right Angle processes and configurations
- Evaluate and recommend Right Angle modules to address evolving business needs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-
- Strong understanding of commodity trading processes across physical and financial commodities
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle management, risk analytics, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Right Angle's Risk Analytics, Hedge Accounting, or Credit modules
- Familiarity with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages used to extend Right Angle
- Understanding of commodity market fundamentals and trading strategies
Education and Experience-
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Right Angle CTRM software
- Experience with Right Angle reporting tools and data extraction methods
- Experience with Right Angle API integration and custom development
- Experience in oil, gas, power, or agricultural commodities trading environments
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience
