Area Sales Manager

We are looking for a full-time Area Sales Manager (m/f/x) to join our team in Houston, TX as soon as possible.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on natural gas measurement and analysis. This role requires a strong technical background, particularly with ultrasonic flow meters and gas analysis equipment, to effectively address client needs and provide tailored solutions.

• Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities within the oil and gas sector, specifically targeting natural gas measurement and analysis equipment
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients, demonstrating a thorough understanding of applications and products
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our solutions
• Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met and to develop customized solutions
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
• Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote RMG Americas and network with potential clients

• Minimum of 3‑5 years of sales experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on natural gas field equipment
• Strong technical background
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events

• Specific knowledge of ultrasonic meters and/or gas analysis equipment
• Spanish language proficiency
