Electronics Technician

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electronics Technician for a top Oil and Gas client. This individual will be highly motivated to thrive in a team environment. Working under the general supervision of an electrical engineer team lead, this person will perform a variety of tasks associated with the manufacturing of oil and gas products. The technician will be responsible for the assessment, installation, and testing of PCB/Circuit boards, testing boards, and programming boards, firmware, and software installation.

The technician will also be responsible for various testing diagnostics and troubleshooting. Each individual will be responsible for promoting a safe and friendly environment.

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of experience as an electronics technician
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics
• Experience working with PCB/Circuit boards, testing boards, programming boards, and firmware
• Experience with installation and programming
• Experience utilizing component level testing diagnostics and troubleshooting
