$46,000.00/yr – $62,000.00/yr (based on skills and experience)

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty request orders in line with Kia and Retailer policies and procedures.
• Test‑drive vehicles, analyze, diagnose, and repair components and systems using Kia diagnostic strategies, equipment, and tools.
• Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs in a timely fashion while communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to promote an optimal customer experience.

• Honorable discharge from the U.S. military.
• Valid drivers' license from any state with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical/mechanical field.
• Willingness to complete and pass drug screening and background checks.

• Full‑time employment with a participating Kia Retailer.
• One‑year, competency‑based GI Bill® approved apprenticeship leading to a Kia Service Technician certification.
• Access to all tools, equipment, vehicles, and training needed for the apprenticeship and certification process.
• Eligible veterans may apply for and receive a substantial GI Bill® Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during the apprenticeship.
