Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Mechanical Technician to specialize in the harnessing, maintenance, repair, and enhancement of autonomous vehicles. This role is crucial for the smooth operation and innovation of our fleet.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of vehicle systems, including chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, and throttle.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues specific to autonomous vehicles, such as sensor installation and alignments.
- Perform modifications and replacements for autonomous vehicle systems.
- Participate in validation tests following repairs or replacements.
- Document processes, procedures, and results.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle sensors (Camera, Lidar, IMU) and their assembly.
- Experience with in-house manufacturing and quality assurance.
- ASE Certification or relevant automotive mechanics certification, with a focus on emerging technologies.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting software.
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings and BOMs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in automotive mechanics, with preferred skills in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
