Benjamin Roberts Law, PLLC is seeking an entry-level Administrative Assistant for a part-time and/or full-time, on-site role in the Greater Houston area. This position is primarily focused on general administrative support and does not involve legal casework or office management responsibilities.
The Administrative Assistant will assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, organizing files, handling basic correspondence, and supporting attorneys and staff with routine office needs. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in a professional office setting while developing strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
- Assist with basic office tasks and administrative projects
- Support attorneys and staff with general administrative needs
- Help ensure a welcoming and professional front-office experience
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and follow instructions
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar office software
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Prior office or administrative experience is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
