Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Virtual Assistant/ Remote Admin
Great Law, a small but mighty Houston-area law firm seeks an executive and administrative assistant to help run our practice. We are looking for someone to primarily support the Co‑Managing Partner and his team of lawyers working remotely from the corporate and litigation teams of the firm, but will have some duties inside the office. Ideally, the position will require approximately Monday through Thursday in the office and Friday will be remote.
ResponsibilitiesApproximately 33% administrative (running conflicts checks, billing, typing letters, opening mail, filing, scanning, calendaring); 33% personal assistant to the team (especially managing calendars/appointments, and occasionally running assorted personal errands); and 33% helping with other random things as they come up inside and outside the office. The position is Monday through Friday 8:30a to 5:30p (with Monday‑Thursday in the office, at least initially) with an hour lunch and some flexibility.
QualificationsThe right person is very organized, very attentive to details, very conscientious of dates/times/calendar events, is looking to find their "work family" / career and not just a "job," and can balance our sometimes chaotic sense of fun and humor with the need to get things done when it's time for the rubber to hit the road. MUST HAVE prior executive assistant experience.
Does not need to be legal, though prior legal experience moves you to the top of the list.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in executive and administrative assistant
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in high intensity, fast‑paced environment
