Overview
The Incumbent performs a variety of duties for the Investigation Bureau.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of professional-level research, administrative, and analytical duties.
- Perform a variety of detailed office administrative tasks and communicate with the public.
- Collect and organize data to produce reports.
- Operate a variety of modern office equipment, such as telephone systems, photocopiers, computers, and related software. Printers, typewriters, adding machines, and other equipment are necessary for performing duties.
- Operate various programs and databases such as People Soft, Microsoft Office and Excel, Jot Form, Quickbase, various law enforcement software, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Responds to open record requests for the Investigations Division.
- Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or HFCMO management.

Education and Skills- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.

Automatic Disqualification:

- Convictions, probation, or deferred adjudication for a Class B Misdemeanor, if within the previous 10 years.
- Open arrest for any criminal offense (Felony or Misdemeanor).
- Family Violence conviction.

- Previous experience in a law enforcement or fire service environment.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Previously trained in NIMS IS-100, IS-200, IS-300, IS-700 and IS-800.
- Contract | Employment Timeframe: 3 to 4 months assignment term
- Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary:
- $22.44 - $26.00 Hourly
- Depends on Qualifications
