Our client, a global Architecture and Design Firm, is looking to hire a Document Control Assistant to join their dynamic Central Team in Houston, TX.
The Document Control Assistant will assist the document controls team and Project Managers to deliver quality materials and input information on engineering projects.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for the set-up of multiple small projects.
- Collaborates to set up standards and procedures for the team.
- Communicate document system procedures with team members.
- Coordinates documents with multiple engineers for project needs.
- Compiles electronic project data books.
- Issues transmittals to clients and vendors.
- Processes vendor submittals.
- Packages electronic documents for clients, vendors, and internal needs.
- Notifies the appropriate person of troubleshooting issues regarding vendors and clients.
- Monitors workflows for the project team.
- A high school diploma and 3 years of applicable experience required. College degree preferred.
- Previous experience working in databases is preferred.
- Previous document control experience within Oil and Gas is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Candidates should possess accurate data entry skills.
