Overview
Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typical assignments include checking in/outpatients, insurance verification, and data entry.

Responsibilities- Answer phone calls utilizing a Genesys system.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all requests by scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate staff.
- Document discussion, messages, and actions taken to process inquiries.
- Resolve patient issues through independent problem solving with a goal of first call.
- Receptionist/front desk, customer service experience.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and helpful even when dealing with upset customers.
- Ability to foster teamwork and partnerships with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and improve customer experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Experience in EMR systems such as E-Clinical Works, Epic, Athena Health, and/or Next Gen.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience in a highly customer service-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of and strict adherence to HIPAA.
Bilingual English (read, write & speak) and Spanish.
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay RangeUSD 41,800 - 50,400 per year
