PositionSummary
This position is responsible for the daily operations of the office, such as answering phones, stocking office supplies, reconciling purchasing card receipts, and greeting guests as they enter the Brian Patterson Sports Performance Center. Reporting to the Director of Internal Football Operations, this position will help with team travel during the fall with duties as assigned. The role will also assist the recruiting department with duties such as submitting paperwork, transcripts or providing other assistance with on-campus visits.
The position will also help in the administration of summer camps.
This position is exclusively on-site, necessitating all duties to be performed in-person. Per Rice policy 440, work arrangements may be subject to change.
- Non-Exempt (hourly) positions under FLSA are eligible for overtime
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two or more (2+) years of office experience.
- Able to correspond professionally both in writing and orally
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite
- Prepare expense reports on behalf of the coaching and support staff.
- Welcome visitors to the building and answer inbound phone calls.
- Act as a representative of the Rice Football Program, maintaining appropriate professionalism and confidentiality.
- Provide logistical support for events as needed.
- Assist with other administrative functions as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
