Overview
K&N Appliance Gallery is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Builder Sales Assistant to support our Builder Sales Associates. This role is essential in managing orders with builders and contractors and ensuring seamless execution from quote to installation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and understand the unique needs of the new construction and renovation markets.
Responsibilities- Sales Support & Coordination:
Prepare and process appliance package quotes for new construction and renovation projects - Sales Support & Coordination:
Track and manage multiple builder projects simultaneously from initial quote through final installation - Sales Support & Coordination:
Coordinate with purchasing to ensure product availability and timely delivery - Order Management:
Process builder orders accurately, ensuring all specifications match project requirements - Order Management:
Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to builders and internal teams - Order Management:
Coordinate delivery schedules with construction timelines and site readiness - Order Management:
Manage changes, substitutions, and special orders as projects evolve - Installation Coordination:
Ensure orders are scheduled for installation - Installation Coordination:
Communicate with installation manager to ensure proper sequencing and site access - Installation Coordination:
Address and resolve any order issues before scheduling to ensure seamless delivery and install - Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of builder accounts, quotes, orders, and project timelines - Administrative Duties:
Generate reports on builder sales activity and project status - Administrative Duties:
Process invoicing and follow up on account receivables as needed
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in order processing and documentation
- Understanding of appliance products and specifications (or willingness to learn)
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
