Audubon is currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Receptionist will attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
  • Take and relay messages
  • Greet persons entering organization and direct persons to correct destination
  • Handle inquiries from the public and customers
  • Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • General administrative and clerical support
  • Prepare letters and documents
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • Maintain calendar schedules
  • Organize meetings including scheduling and arranging lunch
  • Tidy and maintain the reception area and conference rooms
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years’ experience in an office setting
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Punctual and attendance is critical
