Accounting Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

This role will manage customer payments, vendor invoices, account reconciliations, and collections support while supervising administrative staff and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has strong experience in AR/AP processes, ERP systems, and accounting operations within a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to join a stable and expanding company while contributing to process improvements and supporting cross-department financial operations.

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Apply customer payments including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit card transactions
• Support collections efforts while maintaining strong customer relationships
• Review and process vendor invoices and payments within the accounting system
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Coordinate vendor payment schedules and ensure payments are processed on time
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts to maintain accurate records
• Supervise administrative staff and support daily accounting operations
• Maintain organized financial documentation and assist with month-end activities
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 3–5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or accounting operations
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Prior experience supervising administrative or accounting staff preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• ERP systems such as SAP
• Distribution, manufacturing, or wholesale industry experience
• Experience with collections and vendor payment processing
• Experience reconciling customer and vendor accounts
• Supervising small administrative or accounting teams
