Provides the accounting management team with the financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; ensures that transactions meets regulatory and compliance control and works closely with accounting team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform full-cycle accounting duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, journal entries, and financial close procedures.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and post general ledger entries (journal entries) with a strong attention to detail in maintaining records and files, and assist with monthly and year-end close processes.
- Monitor and maintain fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and related transactions.
- Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in recording transactional entries, documents and review of monthly financial reports of cost centers as assigned.
- Assists with the internal and external audit schedules.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
No supervisory responsibilities required for this role.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSSome travel may be expected for this role.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting required, plus 3-5 year related experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, employees of the organization, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to develop and interpret business graphs.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHERSKILLS and ABILITIES
Must possess a specific level of communication skill both verbal and written. Ability to work in a multi‑task environment taking into account various external factors and to communicate efficiently and accurately to both managers/supervisors.
Must be computer literate with knowledge and experience in word processing and spreadsheet softwares. Ability to learn and use association specific software.
