Fund Accountant
Compensation: $65,000 to $80,000 DOE + discretionary bonus + profit sharing opportunities!

Key Responsibilities of the Fund Accountant:
- Perform investment accounting for multiple portfolios, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately
- Prepare and maintain portfolio accounting records, including purchases, sales, income, and valuation activity
- Reconcile portfolio activity with custodians and internal systems to ensure data accuracy
- Assist with the preparation of portfolio performance and financial reports for internal stakeholders
- Monitor and record dividends, interest income, and corporate actions
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes related to investment activity
- Review portfolio transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
Qualifications of the Fund Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in investment accounting, portfolio accounting, or financial reporting
- Understanding of investment transactions, securities, and portfolio reporting
- Experience working within asset management, investment management, or financial services and utilizing portfolio accounting or investment reporting systems
