Billing Specialist

The Billing Specialist will perform routine clerical tasks related to client billing and firm accounting. The position supports the Accounting & Billing Manager and the processing of prebills and client billing, through various legal billing systems.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Law firm & e-billing experience a plus.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into computer software and systems.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Process A/P invoices.
• Process check requests and employee reimbursements.
• Set up new client matters.
• Assist with client billing process.
• Assist with attorney accounting inquiries.
• Oversee monthly firm expenses and incorporate into client billing.
• Assist with entering attorney time.

Additional responsibilities and projects as needed and as assigned.

This job operates in a professional office environment, primarily in-office.
