Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.Manage the accuracy and productivity of day‑to‑day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, and Human Resources.Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements and reports.Ensure compliance with all internal processes and regulatory requirements.Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.Coordinate with the external auditors to ensure a clean and timely year‑end audit.Support budget and forecasting activities.Participate in M&A activities, including due diligence and integration, as required.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a leadership role.Proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, journal entries, financial statements, and fixed assets.Strong understanding of accounting theory and GAAP.Experience with M&A activities is a huge plus but not required.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing, and fun environment.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.If you are a proactive, detail‑oriented accounting professional with a knack for leading teams and streamlining processes, we would love to hear from you.
