Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Manage the accuracy and productivity of day‑to‑day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, and Human Resources.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Coordinate with the external auditors to ensure a clean and timely year‑end audit.
  • Support budget and forecasting activities.
  • Participate in M&A activities, including due diligence and integration, as required.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, journal entries, financial statements, and fixed assets.
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory and GAAP.
  • Experience with M&A activities is a huge plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing, and fun environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
