Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

I’m partnering with several established and growth-oriented manufacturing and industrial organizations in Houston seeking Accountants and Staff Accountants to support structured, deadline-driven accounting teams.

These roles offer hands‑on exposure to month‑end close, inventory and cost accounting, and operational finance in environments that value process, accuracy, and accountability.

Ideal for professionals who want to build depth in technical accounting while gaining real visibility into how operations drive financial results.

Responsibilities will vary slightly by organization, but may include:

• Support or own portions of month‑end close
• Prepare journal entries and accruals
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations
• Inventory and cost accounting support
• Fixed asset accounting
• Intercompany accounting
• Assist with financial reporting and flux analysis
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Partner cross‑functionally with operations, plant leadership, or corporate teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1–5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience supporting month‑end close
• Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals
• Manufacturing / industrial / automotive / chemical exposure strongly preferred
• Inventory or cost accounting exposure a plus
• ERP system experience
• CPA or CPA‑track welcomed but not required
