Financial Reporting Manager

Our Houston, TX based client is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee all aspects of the company’s internal and external financial reporting. Our client is looking for a candidate with 5 plus years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the preparation of SEC filings
• Participate in the monthly and quarterly accounting close process
• Assist in providing quarterly and annual schedules
• Review financial results, report variances, and provide related analysis
• Assist in researching accounting issues and drafting technical accounting memos.
• Maintain and analyze key performance metrics
• Support the financial reporting team with various ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 5 plus years of SEC reporting and/or public accounting experience
• Public accounting experience is preferred
• CPA preferred
