Senior Income Tax Accountant

We’re working with a large, well-established organization to identify a Senior Income Tax Accountant to support federal and state income tax compliance and reporting. This role is ideal for someone coming from public accounting or corporate tax who wants strong exposure, career growth, and a stable long-term opportunity.

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and extensions
• Assist with multi‑state income tax compliance and apportionment
• Support quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations
• Prepare estimated tax payments and related work papers
• Research income tax issues and assist with tax planning initiatives
• Respond to income tax notices and assist with audits
• Collaborate with internal accounting teams and external advisors

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience with federal and/or state income tax compliance
• Public accounting and/or large corporate tax experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA or progress toward CPA a plus

• Clear growth path to Manager‑level roles
