Staff Accountant

Steven Douglas has partnered with a growing leader in the industrial equipment sector that is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant. In this Staff Accountant role, you will support daily accounting operations and contribute to accurate, timely financial reporting. This role works closely with both finance and operations teams to ensure strong accounting controls within a fast-paced equipment driven environment.

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and month end adjustments.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.

• Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and support weekly payment runs.
• Prepare customer invoices and help manage collections and aging.
• Assist with month end, quarter end, and year end close activities.
• Support preparation of internal financial statements and management reporting.

• Assist with cost accounting related to generators, engines, and industrial components.
• Support inventory valuation, cycle counts, and reconciliation.

• Support audit requests and help maintain strong internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

• 2–5 years of accounting experience in a corporate or operational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
