Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Accountant to support monthly close, general ledger activities, and international accounting operations. This role offers strong global exposure, a supportive leadership team, and clear opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities (5–6 day close)
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and adjustments
- Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP
- Complete general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized documentation to support audits and compliance
- Oversee accounts payable processing
- Support payroll accounting activities
- Collaborate with international entities, including Mexico and Argentina
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bilingual:
Spanish and English - must have - Strong knowledge of GAAP (IFRS exposure a plus)
- Experience with multi‑entity or international accounting - must have
- ERP system experience (Oracle, SAP, Net Suite, Sage, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
- Experience in multi‑currency environments
- Exposure to consolidations or corporate/HQ reporting
- Hybrid work schedule with currently no weekend requirements
