Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing company within the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core general ledger operations and help drive process improvements in a highly manual accounting environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enhancing efficiencies, strengthening accounting controls, and supporting complex operational accounting activities.

Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000

Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

• Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee revenue recognition, lease accounting, sales tax, and commission calculations
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Identify and implement process improvements within a manual accounting environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational and financial reporting needs
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Analyze financial data to support business decision-making

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• 5–8+ years of accounting experience, including industry experience in manufacturing or construction
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and core accounting principles
• Experience working in and improving manual accounting processes
• Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience with sales tax and commission accounting preferred
