Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous and tech-savvy Billing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. This long-term contract position requires someone who excels in handling invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. If you have a strong background in accounts receivable and enjoy working with technology, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Process and input invoices using Ariba and Open Invoice systems efficiently and accurately.

- Verify and reconcile billing data to ensure completeness and correctness.

- Maintain organized records of invoices and payments for easy retrieval and auditing.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.

- Monitor accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely processing.

- Assist in generating detailed financial reports for management review.

- Adhere to company policies and procedures while handling sensitive financial information.

- Utilize technology tools to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.

- Provide support in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role.

- Proficiency in using Ariba and Open Invoice platforms.

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

- Familiarity with billing processes and financial recordkeeping.

- Solid technical aptitude and ability to adapt to new software systems.

- Effective communication skills for resolving discrepancies and liaising with team members.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in financial tasks.
