Billing Specialist

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Billing Specialist located in Houston, TX. The Billing Specialist will manage daily billing processes, prepare and send invoices to clients, ensure timely and accurate payment processing, and address billing inquiries. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams to maintain accurate client billing records, adhering to accounting practices, and supporting overall financial operations to facilitate the efficient delivery of legal services.

• Proficiency in Billing Processes and Invoicing tasks
• Experience in Client Billing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal staff
• Knowledge of basic Accounting principles and practices
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with relevant software and billing systems - Clio is a plus and Quickbooks.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in legal or professional services billing is a plus
