Overview of the Accounts Payable Clerk role:

• Enter, file, and maintain Accounts Payable invoices
• Process invoices for payment accurately and timely
• Maintain and file vendor contracts
• Review materials and invoice quantities for unusual activity
• Verify field approvals via job number and cost code
• Determine taxability of materials and follow company policy for taxable invoices
• Process taxable invoices for vendor review
• Process check requests for field locations
• Maintain a highly organized work area while managing multiple priorities
• Prepare reports, business correspondence, and project documentation
• Communicate effectively with vendors, field teams, and internal departments
• Perform additional Accounts Payable duties as assigned
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk:

• 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• MS Excel – Intermediate
• Strong attention to detail and organized
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication and follow-through
