Senior Financial Controller

Salary Range: $125,000 – $175,000

• Oversee preparation and review of accurate financial statements for multiple entities.
• Drive consolidation processes across 36 entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Implement and enhance internal controls and accounting processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Partner with leadership to establish best practices for systems and workflows
  , addressing gaps in existing processes.
• Manage complex accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close
  .
• Collaborate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
• Provide financial insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  , including public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm experience highly desirable).
• Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, consolidations, and internal controls
  .
• Strong understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting.
• Experience working in environments with multiple systems and building processes from the ground up.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred).
• Experience:
• 7–12+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting background (Big 4 or mid-tier firm highly desirable).
• Experience in multi-entity consolidations and complex financial reporting.
• Proven track record of building or improving internal controls and processes
  .
• Exposure to private equity-owned businesses or fast-growth environments is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Expertise in month-end/year-end close
  , consolidations, and audit coordination.
• Comfortable working with multiple accounting systems and implementing process improvements.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (Net Suite, SAP, or similar) preferred.
• Experience with “WHIP Schedules”
  Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
