Staff Accountant

INSPYR Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization in central Houston to hire a Staff Accountant to support plant operations and related entities. This role offers strong visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and long-term growth potential within a stable finance team.

• Manage full-cycle accounting for one plant and smaller entities
• Partner with operations to track project status and analyze cost centers
• Prepare bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Record and monitor fixed assets, including roll-forward schedules
• Post monthly accruals and journal entries
• Support monthly close deadlines and assist with audits
• Process project billings and help improve accounting workflows

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience (industry or public)
• ERP experience required (SAP preferred)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Onsite five days/week during first 90 days for training
• Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) after onboarding period
• Standard business hours with increased activity during year-end close
