Overall Purpose of the Job

Expro is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager who will be responsible for assisting in the management of the external financial reporting process with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in addition to researching technical accounting pronouncements and assisting in month end close.

• Assist in the coordination of the 10-Q and 10-K process including the preparation and review of the report and support binder as well as the review of XBRL
• Review the earnings release
• Perform technical research and prepare memos on various accounting topics
• Assist in the monthly close process including equity compensation entries
• Review the annual accounts and corporate income tax returns for various holding companies
• Coordinate requests with internal and external auditors
• Help ensure adequacy of internal control procedures
• Coordinate or assist in special projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA Certification
• Big 4 Experience required
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, analytical and results-driven skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet time sensitive deadlines, multi-task as necessary and work with minimum supervision

• Manage external financial reporting
• Assist in equity compensation accounting
• Perform technical accounting research
• The ability to mentor and develop personnel
• Ability to identify and address issues and solve problems effectively
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Sound planning, strategizing and organizational skills
• The ability to make effective decisions and solve problems in a timely manner
• Working knowledge of SAP, RDG Thunderdome is a plus
