Accounts Receivable Specialist

Southwest Utility Solutions is a growing utility billing and invoice processing company serving multifamily apartment communities. We are a small, fast-moving business with a purpose-built culture where ownership, adaptability, and effectiveness matter.

This is a high-impact role with full responsibility for our accounts receivable and collections efforts.

• End-to-end ownership of Accounts Receivable and Collections
• Proactive follow-up on outstanding balances
• Direct communication with customers regarding payment status
• Maintaining accurate AR records and reporting
• Identifying issues and improving AR and collections processes
• Ensuring nothing slips through the cracks

This is not a support role — AR ownership is the core function.

• Data entry related to utility bill invoice processing
• Supporting billing accuracy and internal systems as needed

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and/or B2B Collections
• Comfortable having direct conversations about money with corporate clients
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Thrives in a small, dynamic environment
