Job Title

Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

  • Reporting to Shared Services Manager, you will contribute directly to efficient financial operations by ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time
Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of invoices, including resolution of complex transactions through troubleshooting and root cause identification
  • Track, analyze, and resolve accounts payable inquiries in a timely manner and communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders (vendors, procurement, business contacts)
  • Provide guidance and training to junior accounts payable staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment as needed
  • Prepare and provide vendor statements as needed
  • Generate and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and consistent adherence to the company’s policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
    Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant AP experience or shared service experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written required
  • Experience with SAP and VIM Open Text required
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, and Word required
  • Ability to work independently, be proactive, and self‑motivated required
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form and to collaborate and build a positive rapport with all levels of staff and management across functional areas required
  • To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
