Position: ACCOUNTING CLERK

Description

Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour

Required

Skills and Abilities
  • At least one (1) year of hotel accounting experience required
  • Experience with PEP-Hilton Property Management System a plus
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to operate personal computer and calculator
  • Mathematical skills and ability to make accurate mathematical calculations
  • At least two (2) years of customer service experience
Job Description
  • Sort and verify accuracy of Night Audit work (primarily receivables)
  • Post city ledger payments in property management system, reconcile and bill all city ledger accounts
  • Perform follow‑up billing and credit collection documentation and inform Controller of any potential uncollected accounts
  • Assist in reconciling open account status items
  • Assist with processing all approved AP invoices for payment ensuring that all signatures and backup are attached
  • Speak with previous/current guests and resolve billing inquiries and issues
