What You’ll Be Responsible For as the Grant Accountant:
Manage the full financial lifecycle of grant-funded programs, including budgets, expenditures, and reporting
Ensure accurate tracking of grants and restricted funds in compliance with funding requirements
Prepare grant-related financial reports and assist with audits and reviews
Process payroll and properly allocate labor costs across grants and cost centers
Reconcile payroll distributions to the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close activities
What We’re Looking For in the Grant Accountant:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA preferred
2–4+ years of experience in grant, fund, or nonprofit accounting
Solid understanding of grant compliance requirements and payroll processes
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and reconciliation skills
