Billing Clerk

An established and growing automotive organization based in Houston, Texas is seeking a detail oriented and experienced Billing Clerk to join its accounting team. • Review vehicle deals for accuracy and compliance using established checklists
• Post vehicle sales transactions to the accounting ledger
• Record sales commissions and bonuses
• Record funding on vehicle sales
• Prepare check requests for trade payoffs
• Send contracts and payoff documentation to lenders
• Maintain and update contracts in transit schedules and follow up with management to ensure timely funding
• Update notes on billing related schedules
• Handle inbound phone calls related to billing requests
• Maintain a professional appearance and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Two or more years of related automotive billing or accounting experience preferred

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must pass a drug test and comprehensive criminal background screening

Self motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
