INSPYR Solutions is partnering with a leading upstream Oil & Gas client located in Downtown Houston to identify an experienced Revenue Accountant. This role will support operated and non-operated properties across multiple states and play a key part in revenue accounting clean-up and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Book revenue for operated and non-operated properties across various states
- Research, analyze, and resolve Prior Period Adjustments (PPAs)
- Perform revenue reconciliations and variance analysis
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Utilize SAP PRA and Excel for reporting, analysis, and clean-up efforts
- Proven experience as a Revenue Accountant within upstream Oil & Gas
- Hands-on experience with operated and non-operated properties
- Strong background resolving PPAs
- Working knowledge of SAP PRA required
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
