Senior Accountant

We’re seeking a Contract Senior Accountant to step in immediately and drive high-impact accounting support with a strong focus on balance sheet reconciliations, clean close execution, and disciplined financial accuracy
. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes full ownership, and delivers clean, audit-ready work without needing heavy oversight.

• Own and complete balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts (cash, accruals, prepaid, intercompany, AP/AR clearing, fixed assets, inventory/COGS as applicable)
• Identify and resolve discrepancies through strong investigation skills, root‑cause analysis, and clear documentation
• Prepare and post journal entries
  , ensuring accuracy, proper support, and correct classification
• Support month‑end close by managing schedules, tie‑outs, roll forwards, and variance explanations
• Partner with AP/AR, Treasury, and business stakeholders to clear aged items and validate transactional activity
• Maintain clean work papers and reconciliation support that are organized, review‑friendly, and audit-ready
• Improve efficiency by implementing reconciliation templates, trackers, and repeatable close routines

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  ; CPA is a plus
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Senior Accountant level or equivalent)
• Proven track record owning high-volume reconciliations and driving accuracy under deadlines
• Strong GAAP foundation with an understanding of internal controls and financial discipline
• ERP experience required (any major system is fine)
• Self‑starter mindset with the ability to prioritize, execute, and communicate clearly
