Senior Accountant

We have partnered with a well known organization in the manufacturing and distribution sector who is looking for a hands on Senior Accountant to join the team during an exciting period of transition and growth. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high impact role that starts with full ownership of day to day accounting and evolves into leading an ERP integration and long term finance transformation.

You’ll be the go to finance partner on the ground, with direct visibility to leadership, and the chance to shape new systems, processes, and controls from the ground up.

• Own daily accounting operations: A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Manage month end close, reporting packages, and variance analysis
• Document, improve, and implement internal controls and accounting workflows
• Support licensing, sales/use tax, and compliance across multiple states
• Collaborate cross functionally with ops and leadership to align financial goals
• Play a lead role in an upcoming ERP transition and systems migration
• Provide accurate, GAAP compliant financial data to support decision making

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (distribution/manufacturing is a big plus)
• Degree preferred but not required for the right experience
• Strong command of GAAP and internal control best practices
• Quick Books expertise required;
  Net Suite or other ERP experience is highly valued
• Excel savvy with solid analytical and reporting skills
• Comfortable working in a high volume, hands on environment

Location: Houston, TX (North Houston); onsite

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 (based on experience)

Start Date: ASAP
