Our client, a national private EPC Firm, is hiring a Financial Accounting Manager for a full-time direct placement opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

The Manager will provide leadership to help manage the Consolidation and Financial Accounting related to producing the financial statements of the Enterprise. The main focus of the Manager will be to provide quality and timely accounting and support services to all the family of companies within the Enterprise.

• Perform multi-entity consolidations, including eliminations.
• Prepare full financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Statement of Cash Flows).
• Draft, post, and reconcile journal entries; manage accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, trial balances.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (internal + external).
• Contribute to footnote preparation for SEC reporting.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations, financial analysis.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure proper financial reporting.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA a plus).
• 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience (for-profit environment).
• Hands‑on consolidation experience across multiple entities.
• Proven ability to prepare complete financials.
• Experience with journal entry posting (not review only).
• Knowledge of SEC reporting and footnote preparation.
• Strong Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.); proficiency in Word.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work independently.
