Steven Douglas is partnering with an oil and gas client in West Houston in their search for interim Senior Accountant
. This position will work on-site on a hybrid basis and this position is expected to be at least 2-3 months in duration with potential to extend.
- Perform monthly and quarterly close consolidation processes, processing and validating various eliminations, validation of investment in affiliate entries, and assisting in resolving intercompany discrepancies
- Creating and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations and account analysis, responding in inquiries about the consolidations process
- Prepare and provide earnings analysis
- Supporting various other duties as assigned
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Experience handling consolidations across multiple levels
- SAP BPC experience (highly preferred); SAP experience (required)
